Dr.
Alexander is a child psychologist in Albuquerque. He specializes
in childhood bonding and attachment, with a focus on the impact
adoption, foster care, or divorce has on children. Dr. Alexander
provides attachment-based family therapy, conducts psychological
and neuropsychological evaluations, and lectures extensively
on children's mental health. Dr. Alexander also provides expert
witness testimony on the effects of trauma, abuse, and loss
on children. He is the author of the book, Welcome Home:
A Guide for Foster, Adoptive, and Treatment Foster Parents'
[Mountain West Publishing, 2005]. Dr. Alexander has taught at
