Amy Cortese, MS, CSC, LMHC


Amy Cortese, M.S., C.S.C., LMHC is a licensed therapist and a Shamanic Practitioner having practiced shamanism for over 30 years. In her private practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Amy combines her clinical knowledge, Jungian Studies and Shamanic Practices in bringing a holistic perspective to healing with individuals and in groupwork. Amy has extensive teaching experience in bridging clinical and spiritual traditions. She is an instructor for Southwestern College in Santa Fe, a former faculty member for the Foundation for Shamanic Studies and the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Utah. Her work includes many clinical and community settings such as residential treatment for addictions, recovery and trauma, community mental heath programs, AIDS Foundations, Hospice staff, and teaches trainings for other practitioners throughout the west. Amy supports people in discovering their own spiritual authority and in practices for healing the soul.
