“Art
therapy is an expanding and exciting field to be entering at
this time. Here at SWC we integrate theories of consciousness,
self-care and transformational learning to prepare creative
and competent professionals in art therapy. The spiritual aspects
of art making are an essential part of SWC’s program.
Faculty engage students in an exploration of art making and
the art image as a healing process. Students are encouraged
to discover their individual vision and style as professionals
in the art therapy field. The world is an open place in need
of creativity.”
