Vision Quest Spring 2007
On
June 10th at noon, the questers arrived in the town of Magdalena,
New Mexico. Cars followed each other driving on dirt roads to
enter Cibola National Forest, and head towards basecamp at Durfee
Canyon. The next couple of days were spent in preparation for
the 4 day and 4 night fast each quester would go through.
Words
cannot convey the healing experience of participating in the
rite of passage known as Vision Quest. This experience is provided
as a required part of the Transformational Ecopsychology
Certificate Program.
