Beyond the Basics of Child-Centered Play Therapy This course will take a look at the current theories of play therapy. Students will have the opportunity to conduct a personal exploration of the fit between themselves and the style/theory of play therapy they practice. Advanced skills in play therapy will be presented, as well as diagnosis, treatment planning and various forms of documentation. This course is well-suited for people who have had some initial training in play therapy and/or currently use play when counseling children. (Counts as 20 contact hours toward the CMH Certificate.)
