Integrating Sexuality and Spirituality: Personal Growth and Clinical Skills
Friday, Jan. 16, 6–9pm; Continuing Saturday & Sunday, Jan. 17 & 18, 9am–6pm
The pioneering process of Integrating Sexuality and Spirituality (“ISIS”) is grounded in shamanic principles to explore sexual energy beyond performance goals and pharmaceutical interventions. The weekend is both experiential and practice-oriented. You are invited to step into the ISIS Wheel, a transformational template that recognizes the full range of sexual issues: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. You’ll experience drummed journeys, learn the hucha miqui practice to clear yourselves and your clients, create your own Wheel, and leave with insights, resources and innovative ways to engage clients in their own therapeutic growth–whether or not you are trained as a sex therapist.
Please bring with you two objects to place in our Wheel on Friday evening—one to represent an aspect of your sexual story you want to keep, the other to represent an aspect you want to move beyond; you will take these home with you on Sunday, as your teachers.
