WISDOM OWL FOR GLOBAL AWAKENING: the Seven Mirrors of Western Culture
Friday, May 2, 6–9pm; Saturday & Sunday, May 3 & 4, 9am–6pm
The Wisdom Owl weekend seminar with Native shamaness Ohki S. Forest offers an opportunity to step into an authentic introduction to Red Lodge shamanism & develop a direct connection with Earth & Sky spirits, our personal Power Animal, Native ancestors & others. It is a path that transcends religions, & may be integrated by people of all cultures & spiritual paths to promote healing, purification & peace for individual & collective growth.
Inspiring & filled with hope, the teachings of Ohki through drum journeys, sacred breathing & meditations, & ancient dreaming practices, provide profound insights into the 7 Mirrors of Self, a timely wisdom on the Western wall of American culture, for keener discernment, courage & strength. As a messenger of Death in the Medicine Wheel of Maya culture, Owl teaches us to develop the necessary intuition to conquer our ego’s illusions & fears. To undergo this important healing, Ohki reveals crucial Maya prophecies of the 5th Sun, predicting the raising of the Feminine from the very Earth of Americas. You are invited to join for a sacred Fire dance ceremony for the return of ancestors & the coming of new times.
Ohki S. Forest is a vision-holder & spiritual teacher of Canadian Mohawk descent who has lived in Chiapas, Mexico since 1985 where she supports Maya social justice projects & fosters the renewal of Native spirituality. Trained & initiated by Maya, Canadian & Mongolian shamans, she has taught a unified practice of ancient Native medicine ways in North America & Mexico for 30 years. She is the author of Dreaming the Council Ways: True Native Teachings from the Red Lodge, one of the foremost books on matrifocal shamanism today.
