Annie Rasquin, LCSW has worked in public service in Northern New Mexico for 30 years. She is the Executive Director of CASA First, a nonprofit providing advocacy for trauma impacted infants, children and youth from Los Alamos, Santa Fe, and Rio Arriba Counties.
Annie is guided by the ethos of humanistic altruism and transformational leadership which has led her to public service; addressing the needs of her community, and vulnerable children. Annie started her public service career as a Firefighter/Paramedic with the City of Santa Fe, and has been a Clinical Supervisor and Program Director with multiple non-profit behavioral health agencies serving children and families.
Annie has developed programs and trainings on the neurobiological impact of trauma, prenatal drug intervention programs, the development of early social emotional skills and the impact and mitigation of childhood maltreatment. In addition to volunteering with multiple nonprofits, she has served on city and state task forces and boards addressing issues impacting children. Annie is committed to serving children and families in Northern New Mexico through advocacy and community partnerships.
Annie is excited to serve on the Board of Southwestern College and support this community treasure, and the metamorphic power of conscious education.
