Larry has a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Shippensburg University and a master’s degree in library and information science from Clarion University (both in Pennsylvania). He has been the Director of Library Services at Quimby Memorial Library at Southwestern College for three years, during which time he’s been engaged with the projects of diversifying voices and ideas represented in the library’s collections and the fluid and anticipatory integration of library resources into students’ academic journeys at Southwestern College. Larry has served as adjunct instructor for Research Methods and Program Evaluation for students in the Southwestern College MA clinical programs (Counseling and Art Therapy/Counseling). He has been a member of the Online Learning Leadership Team at the College. His second report on original research into intellectual humility and its role in igniting action-based information literacy skill is currently in peer review. He has presented at multiple library conferences and consortiums on intellectual humility in information seeking and disinformation in online environments.
Larry provides assistance to all SWC students and How will your vision seed invite others to envision and enact?faculty in the use of APA and in information-seeking for curriculum development and academic papers.
