Nicola Rose Walters (she/her) is an artist, educator, and activist-scholar whose work as a regenerative leader braids together ecological, social, and political dimensions. She teaches Political Science at California Polytechnic University, Humboldt, and is pursuing her doctorate in Visionary Practice and Regenerative Leadership at Southwestern College. Her research integrates arts-based inquiry, place-based storytelling, and community healing. Nicola’s work centers on reconciling the perceived separations between self, other, and the more-than-human world, inviting students and collaborators into transformative learning experiences that cultivate imagination, relational ethics, and collective renewal.
