The following licensing information is current as of 08/20/2021:
Southwestern College has determined that its curriculum meets the state educational requirements for licensure or certification in the following states.
NOTE: States with an asterisk will need additional coursework in our curriculum to meet the requirements. For more information please contact Dru Phoenix if you are a prospective student or applicant or Michelle Lynn if you are a current student or graduate.
- Alabama, Alaska, Arizona*, California*, Colorado, Delaware, Florida*, Georgia, Hawaii*, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa*, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland*, Massachusetts*, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio*, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina*, Tennessee, Texas*, Utah, Vermont*, Virginia*, Washington, Wisconsin*, Wyoming.
Southwestern College has determined that its curriculum does not meet the state educational requirements for licensure or certification in the following states:
- Kentucky, North Carolina, and Missouri
Southwestern College has not made a determination that its curriculum meets the state educational requirements for licensure or certification in the following states. We are currently researching these states and will update them on a monthly basis.
- Arkansas, Connecticut, Idaho, Kansas, Minnesota, New York, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, West Virginia.
